Advanced Training for the IT staff :
- New GIS release (ArcGIS 9) making full use of
its analytical capabilities and geographic query
potentials.
- Image processing (ERDAS imagine) to handle and
geo-reference raster maps.
Increased used of GIS in
relation to mine action and data management.
Use of a common GIS platform for the different coordinate
systems (Lambert, UTM,WG84 and Stereographic) used for
Lebanon maps.
Coordination with GICHD IMSMA department to prepare the
migration of the IMSMA from release 3 to 4.
