1- Promote the knowledge among citizens in mine affected areas in order to provoke a behavioral change and limit the risk of injuries through the dissemination of effective prevention measures .

2- Increase the capabilities of local communities and enhance their role to ensure the success and sustainability of awareness programs through attracting the donors by showing them the importance of the mine problem.

3- Support the efforts of the National Demining Office aiming at consolidating cooperation among all those concerned with the landmine problem in Lebanon , and developing a unified vision on possible intervention strategies.

4- Continue a consolidated plan of action to be implemented by the National Mine Awareness Steering Committee .
