The role of the
Operations Section is planning, organization, implementation,
coordination, and to monitor, prepare, and offer reports about
the activities of the NDO in demining and organizational tasks.
Main Goals are:
- Work
towards concluding the demining operations as soon as
possible
- Management
of organizational tasks including:

Technical Standards and Guidelines
-
Evaluation of organizations and companies interested
in working in Lebanon
-
Quality assurance and monitoring of demining –
clearance operations in line with national standards
-
Annual and periodic planning and for demining
activities according to priorities set by the NDO
and others upon need
-
Ensuring coordination and support for demining
operations with donor states
