زار وفد من صندوق النقد الإنمائي (ITF) حقل قنابل عنقودية تعمل الجمعية النرويجية الشعبية (NPA) على تنظيفه، وذلك تحت إشراف المركز اللبناني للأعمال المتعلقة بالألغام، وبتمويل من جمهورية كوريا الجنوبية .

وقد تم عرض إيجاز عن سير العمل والتحديات التي تواجه الفرق العاملة.

هذه الجهود تساهم في ضمان سلامة المجتمع وحماية البيئة من مخلفات الحرب.

A delegation from the International Trust Fund (ITF) visited a cluster bomb field currently being cleared by the Norwegian People’s Aid (NPA), under the supervision of the Lebanon Mine Action Center and with funding from the Republic of South Korea.

A briefing was presented on the progress of the work and the challenges faced by the teams on the ground.

These efforts contribute to ensuring the safety of the community and protecting the environment from the remnants of war.

في إطار الجهود المستمرة لتطوير عمليات إزالة الألغام، استقبل المركز اللبناني للأعمال المتعلقة بالألغام المستشار التقني الدولي للمجموعة الاستشارية للألغام (MAG)، وذلك ضمن سلسلة زيارات سيقوم بها إلى الحقول التي تعمل المنظمة على تنظيفها، بهدف تعزيز فعالية العمل وتقييم جهود نزع الألغام لأغراض إنسانية.

As part of ongoing efforts to enhance demining operations, the Lebanon Mine Action Center (LMAC) welcomed the International Technical Advisor from the Mines Advisory Group (MAG), as part of a series of field visits to sites being cleared by the organization. These visits aim to improve the effectiveness of operations and assess demining efforts carried out for humanitarian purposes.

The discussions also focused on intensifying efforts to secure support for the Lebanese Mine Action Program.
